MechWarrior Online

One of my most anticipated games of this year has to go to MechWarrior Online. Or in other words, MechWarrior 5. I love these kinds of games. I was big into the Armored Core games growing up with the Playstation and Playstation 2. I also was able to sometimes play the MechWarrior games on PC, which are hard as hell because of the controls. I don’t think that will be any different with the PC version of MechWarrior Online. I am just hoping that improve the controls by not making Accelerate and Decelerate – and = and the 1-0 keys. Really difficult to controls when you have to use num pad 7 and 9 to turn your Mechs torso. Your hands are literally all over the keyboard. Hopefully they will configure the controls this time where everything is in one place. Which will be more convenient. Check out the online trailer of the game, which looks really freaking cool.

The games graphics are just crazy. The cockpit just looks way more defined then the previous MechWarrior games. It’ll be really cool to be able to drive this thing in real time. Also when the game comes out, it will be a MMO. And the day cycles will be in real time. So if your playing during the day time, it will be daylight in the game and when you are playing at night, the game will be at night and you’ll be fighting in the dark. I’m really looking forward to this one. Also to Hawking, which is another Mech game that is coming out soon that looks very promising.

Rejects: Reviewer Bandwagon annoying update

I had to take Mike out of the game completely. That was… annoying. I had to play the entire game from front to back, removing his face, and changing dialog. I had to make a new sprite set for Aqualung and new faceset for him. So yeah I asked Kenny if it was Ok if he wanted to take Mikes place in  the game and he was Ok with it. So now he is completely out of the game… At least he asked nicely.

I should be getting back to work on the game either tomorrow or Saturday. Then I should be finished with the game by the end of the month. I’m gonna be fully honest that it won’t be the best RPG you’ve ever played on RPG Maker. Since it’s a joke game and I haven’t made an RPG is freaking years, so I during the production of this game I have been relearning things I have forgotten. Thank to the RPG Maker community I have been able to take some good advice and use some damn good written tutorials to add some flair to the game. Hopefully those who play it will at least enjoy it.

Taking my website/blog back

I’m taking my blog and website back for myself. Since  the people who were working with me stopped communicating with me so suddenly, there is no reason why they should be a part of my logo, my website, or my work. So they get the boot off my site. This will also be the last time I offer to give GX² Productions to people for use of a team effort. I will just keep the logo for myself and only myself. Just as I have for 7 years straight. To begin with, GX² Productions was created just to have a splash logo for my videos to begin with. Because it seemed more sensible to have a logo in my videos then none at all. Team GX was the first logo I had made when I was with friends like James, Nkosie, Tramine, and myself included. We made videos back in High School and we had fun while it lasted. But since I was the only one who continued to make videos as a hobby, Team GX was a silly name for just one person. So thus I created GX² Productions for myself.

I may seem harsh on the people who were involved for awhile, but that’s life baby. When I have the funds and everything, I may ask for help in turning this blog into a website. Or maybe I may just close this one down one day and make an entirely new website for GX² Productions all together on another service which seems more affordable as a non-profit single organization that just focuses on a hobby. This logo was never created in terms of making any profit to begin with, since I always thought that it was unrealistic. I am not James Rolfe or Doug Walker. I’m just a guy making videos because I can and it fills the gap when there is nothing else to do at the moment. Even though I only get 100 or so views per video, it’s just a hobby. For the people watching it should only just entertain those who watch or just pass it by like if it were just a waste of time. It doesn’t matter to me much. I am used of it.

So I will be updating this blog more often. Instead of calling it a website I’ll just return to calling this thing a full out blog of random shit that I say. Also, it will just be me and only me. Just as it were before.

Game Page Here

Game that is in the works for everybody to download for free. Will be done in a few months or less. Depending on what goes on in my life. Below are the details about the game in progress.

I take you back to 2007, when angry video game reviews were the thing to do. When Reviewers such as myself were labeled AVGN (Angry Video Game Nerd) ripoffs. The story begins with Armake21 just minding his own business on his Youtube channel. Then he gets bombarded with Gunfever troll comments on his comments section of his channel. Armake21 then gets attacked by the Gunfevers personally and is forced to team up with Bookitty182, Wizawar100, and Dantebunny. They alone must go into the Gunfevers Headquarters, get answers, and figure out who is truly behind the troll leak onto innocent video game reviewers channels across Youtube.

Characters

Armake21: A popular video game reviewer that has over 10,000 subscribers. His most popular reviews are his Ghostbusters NES review, his Quattro Adventure review, and his Bomberman Act Zero Review on the Xbox 360. He is usually the prime target by the Gunfever trolls and he usually spends his time deleting an onslaught of spam comments from them.

Bookitty182: Also known as the Grumpy Gamer Bitch. She is the first ever female video game reviewer on Youtube and she holds the title with pride. Her reviews included Barbie on NES and Snoopy Silly Sports on NES. She is a typical angry woman who has been frustrated with crap games from her youth and decides to take them down one by one. She is not the target by trolls since she is a female, but helps her fellow reviewers when in need.

Wizwar100: A popular asian game reviewer. He hates trolls. Nuff said.

DanteBunny: DanteBunny has always hated trolls and makes it his mission to take them down once and for all.

KoiKitsune2006: A video game reviewer that just started out in the fray. He is not the most popular in the bunch since he started late, but he is being attacked by AVGN Nazi’s. Because of his Checkered Flag review where he drinks a beer. Koi Kitsune takes it upon himself and his crew to fight against the troll onslaught to minimize the number and to stop the unnecessary flame wars.

Silent Rob: Pissed off, foul mouthed, game reviewer. The original game reviewer who ever did Action 52 on the NES. He teams up with Koi Kitsune to stop the trolls because not only do they piss him off hardcore, he wants to kick ass and take some names.

Gaming Goose: Mostly an older father figure to other game reviewers, he is more of a game guru then a game reviewer. Although he has done some reviews but mostly fact videos. He does get attacked by Gunfevers and trolls himself but he doesn’t take them very personally. He helps out Koi Kitsune take them down with his wit rather then his pure strength.

SentryIII: Also known as S3JasonU on Youtube, he doesn’t like the idea of a dozen flame wars on Youtube and helps Koi Kitsune stop the trolls and stop the insanity once

Kariou is my old childhood friend who reviewed his very first game. Check it out! He wanted me to review the game, but I am having graphical glitching problems so there is no way I can really play it. So, yeah.
